JM Glendinning Insurance Brokers was established in 1972 as a local, family run insurance broker in Guiseley. Today, as a multi-million pound group, the business has built a reputation as one of the UK’s leading commercial lines brokers.

Following a management buyout in 2020 led by Group CEO Nick Houghton, and backed by SYNOVA, the group is now a £100m premium income business, with ambitious growth plans built on supplementing strong organic growth with complementary strategic acquisitions.
 
JMG Group's success is founded on attracting the best people in the industry and building the business around them. This makes attracting and retaining staff critical to its growth strategy. Our appointment almost a decade ago coincided with the firm’s accelerating growth plans, and our brief remains to raise its profile to help the business continue to attract great people and acquisition opportunities.
 

The Campaign

The PR campaign focuses on positioning the JMG Group as a forward thinking, successful, growing and thriving business through a mix of corporate news, team news, acquisition announcements, industry comment and interviews across earned channels.

We also manage the group's owned channels, which focus on telling human interest stories about the business and the people in it. Video helps bring to life the stories of MDs who have sold their businesses to become part of the group, which adds a human element to the acquisition stories that are frequently covered in regional and industry media.

Our work on the group's social channels has seen reach and engagement grow consistently from a standing start.
