The majority of projects are won through competitive tenders, so a high profile and a general understanding of their construction capabilities among potential customers are essential in order to be invited to bid for more work.

Every press release has achieved good coverage in the target media and one press release in particular led to an invitation to tender for a £2.4 million contract to design and build a fire station in York. 

A press release announcing completion of Normanton fire station three months ahead of schedule achieved coverage in local media. This was seen by the project team in York who immediately invited Caddick to tender for the design and build contract of the York fire station.  Without the press coverage Caddick’s capabilities wouldn’t have been recognised and the opportunity to win the contract would not have been created.
