After speaking with Lee and Zac about their needs and plans for the business, we agreed that the
Partners Pathfinder service was the ideal starting point for MYGROUP.
The Pathfinder involved us working with the two directors to build a strategic 12-month communications plan. As MYGROUP is based in West Yorkshire, Lee and Zac had the added benefit of funding towards the project through the
West Yorkshire Good Growth Programme.
We kicked things off with a review of their market and a look at how competitors are telling their stories in a sector that remains very traditional. From there, we spent time with the directors, digging deep into the story behind the business; working through where they sit in the market; what makes the business different and unique; identifying the customers they are targeting for each division; and shaping the distinct messages for each of their target markets.
From there, it was over to us to pull everything together into a structured 12-month
PR strategy and communications plan to give their internal marketers a strategic blueprint for all future PR and marketing.
